Duration of Black

This project, led by Leah Finch, stemmed from our observation of petals and fruits on a small pomegranate tree. In trying to find in paint what we’d seen in decayed pomegranate petals, we found the color of all colors: black. Following Leah’s lead, we began to search for how long black can last before it becomes another color. Here, we show a few of our experiments and findings regarding the duration of black.
