Plants for Poems and Poetry Reading at University of Chicago’s Logan Center for the Arts, May 26th - 27th 2015. Cream Co. transformed the Logan Center courtyard into a site for community exchange and performance. 2,000 seedlings of fourteen varieties of heirloom tomato were made available: for a word, for a poem, or for free. Student Poets and spoken word artists curated and shared a selection of the poems shared. Co-presented by the Arts, Science & Culture Initiative and the Logan Center.
First the poem, then the plant.
